These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Redbird Tech Crew LLC’s onsite and remote technical support, consultation, custom PC build services, and web design / hosting services. By booking an appointment, approving a quote, paying an invoice, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide onsite and remote technical support, troubleshooting, installations, consultations, custom PC build services, and web design / hosting. We always aim to resolve issues professionally, but certain problems may not be repairable due to hardware failures, software limitations, age of equipment, or third-party issues outside our control.
2. Appointments & Fees
- Payment is required at the time of service unless stated otherwise.
- Some projects (including custom PC builds and web design) may require a deposit or prepayment before work begins or parts are ordered.
- Travel outside our normal service radius may incur additional fees.
- Missed appointments or same-day cancellations may result in a cancellation charge up to the minimum service fee stated at booking.
3. Customer Responsibility
- Provide accurate service details when booking.
- Ensure safe and reasonable working conditions onsite.
- Maintain backups of important data. While we take reasonable care, you are solely responsible for backing up your data. We are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or failure to back up.
- Provide valid licensing information (where applicable) for software or operating systems to be installed or reinstalled.
4. Liability
Redbird Tech Crew LLC is not liable for:
- Pre-existing hardware or software issues
- Data loss, corruption, or inability to access data
- Third-party software, services, or vendor defects
- Issues caused by customer-installed software, devices, or changes made after our service is completed
Our liability for any claim related to services provided is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service.
5. Custom PC Builds
Custom PCs are built to your requested use-case and budget. Because each build is configured specifically for you, the following terms apply:
- Quotes & specifications: Performance estimates are based on typical usage and published benchmarks. Actual performance may vary depending on software, settings, and workload.
- Parts ordering: Once parts are ordered for your build, any deposit or parts cost becomes non-refundable. We may, at our discretion, assist in returning unused parts to vendors subject to their policies and restocking fees.
- Labor: Labor for assembly, configuration, and testing is non-refundable once work on your build has started.
- No change-of-mind returns: Completed custom PC builds are not returnable for a refund due to change of mind, preference, or performance expectations, provided the system meets the agreed specifications.
- Warranties: Manufacturer warranties apply to all components. We will help you identify and use applicable manufacturer warranties and, at our discretion, assist with warranty claims (RMAs). Replacement of defective parts is ultimately governed by the manufacturer's policies.
- Post-delivery changes: Overclocking, user modifications, physical damage, inadequate cooling, electrical issues, or software changes made after delivery may void support or incur additional service charges.
6. Web Design, Hosting & Subscriptions
- Custom design & development: Web design and development work is custom and delivered in phases (discovery, design, development, launch, etc.). Payments for completed phases or milestones are non-refundable once that work has been delivered or made available for review.
- Project cancellation: If a project is cancelled before completion, you are responsible for paying for all work performed up to the cancellation date. Any unused prepaid amounts may be refunded or credited at our discretion.
- Hosting & maintenance: Hosting and maintenance plans are billed in advance (for example, monthly or annually) and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time, but:
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We do not issue refunds or prorated credits for partial or unused periods once a billing period has begun.
- Domains & third-party services: Fees for domain registrations, SSL certificates, email services, and other third-party tools or subscriptions are non-refundable once purchased, as these are governed by third-party providers.
- Content responsibility: You are responsible for the content hosted on your website, including text, images, and files. You must ensure that your content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on the rights of others.
7. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations
- Unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing, all services, including onsite/remote tech support, consulting, custom PC builds, web design, and digital deliverables, are final and non-refundable once the service is performed or the deliverable has been provided.
- For custom PC builds, deposits and parts costs are non-refundable once components are ordered. Labor is non-refundable once assembly has begun.
- For web design projects, payments for completed milestones or phases are non-refundable.
- Hosting, maintenance, and similar subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation will stop future renewals but will not refund any amounts already billed for the current period.
- Any refunds, credits, or discounts outside of these Terms are issued solely at our discretion as a courtesy and do not create an ongoing obligation to do so in the future.
